Volunteer Collage

Volunteers have always been at the heart of life at Princess Alice Adoption Home. Volunteers provide love, stimulation and fun to the babies and toddlers; some get more involved in helping with DIY, weekly collections of fresh produce donations, tin collections, fundraising, circulating our wish list …. all the activities which help to keep us afloat. Some volunteers are regular visitors to the home; some get involved when they are able to. Whatever the nature of their involvement, each and every volunteer contributes to our mission of providing the best possible care to the babies in our nursery, in a healthy and loving environment.

The management of Princess Alice is responsible and accountable for the safety and well-being of the babies and the staff who care for them. The management is also responsible for ensuring that volunteer resources are channelled properly to ensure that the most pressing needs of the home and the babies are met to the best of our ability.

Volunteers who would like to remain active in the programme should please a complete a simple re-registration form, updating the information that we already have on file. The process will enable us manage our resources; it will also provide registered volunteers with access to the nursery.

We would like to complete the process by 31 March 2014.

The 1-page form can be downloaded from  http://www.princessalice.org.za/volunteer/ or requested via email from Lisa on office@princessalice.org.za.
